TKS ice-protection technology.
The TKS STC represents one of Central Air’s most significant achievements in the continuing
development of our 500B fleet. Rather than simply accepting the aircraft in its original configuration, Central
Air pursued an approved modification that enhanced its ice-protection capability and helped make the
airplane better suited to the demanding environment of year-round commercial cargo operations.
For an air-cargo operator, that capability is particularly important.
